A Very good Look at the Lean Belly Prescription
We all know that having large amounts of belly fat can be bothersome. Not only is it responsible for the “muffin tops” we all loathe so much, it puts real pressure on our bodies while adding to issues like heart disease, diabetes and more. Now, though, there is a book called the Lean Belly Prescription which is promising to help you get rid of the muffin top and get healthy at the same time. This book has been reviewed pretty much everywhere and we wanted to find out if the contents of the book are better than anything else that is already out there so we thought we would give it a closer look.
The book is available through standard bookselling outlets like Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and Borders. This is a superb indicator because it adds legitimacy to the venture. It may also help make it less difficult to buy because you don’t have to concern yourself with some affiliate giving a trumped up review to ensure they earn a commission on a product that doesn’t help you. This guide was composed by Travis Stork. You could remember him from the show “The Bachelor” or perhaps recognize him as one of the doctors on the syndicated daytime show “The Doctors.” He is obviously more, however, than just a TV character. He is a true doctor and works in the emergency room at a genuine medical center.
The book was created to promote the Pick 3 to Lean program that Dr. Stork has developed. The Pick 3 to Lean plan can help you customize your diet and lifestyle habits but isn’t going to require you to spend hours and hours working out a gym. This program claims that you will be in a position to shed pounds and never have to abstain from any of the things you like the most (food, free time, etc). The program is centered on the N.E.A.T (or Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) principle. This principle declares that it is possible to use up calories without having to work out.
From what we can tell, this book tends to make an awful lot of guarantees but doesn’t deliver any innovative or revelatory information. The real fact is that most of the details found in this book could be found by doing a few basic Google searches and using your common sense. It will even be unsatisfying for those who are hoping for some real reasoning behind the instructions they are given. The book does not go into theory very much in the least. Instead it merely offers readers with a bunch of outlines and instructions to follow. If you happen to be a person who enjoys being given clear cut plans but doesn’t want to have to stress about the whys of what you are doing, this could be a good book for you.
Traditional common sense shows us that the only real way to lose weight is to consume good food and get regular exercise. This book doesn’t use that standard logic so there isn’t any real way to tell whether or not it will work the way the marketing promises it will. Of course, it’s absolutely worth a look, particularly when you get permission from your medical doctor (your own doctor, not the doctor who wrote the book).
