The Immense Benefits of Fish
Believe it or not, fish is actually much better for you than poultry, beef or pork. It is undoubtedly the best meat around. Omega-3 and other healthy fats are found in high concentrations in fish, and they have some great health benefits. However, there are other alternatives if you don’t like fish.
A highly discussed topic today is the benefits of Omega-3 fatty acid. Many scientists and researchers have linked it to phenomenal things such as weight loss and a reduced risk of heart disease. However, there are some nay-sayers out there. Many claim there is a lack of evidence to support these claims, but it does not change the fact that many people have had great success from adding Omega-3 to their diets.
Chicken is very healthy, but it is nothing compared to fish. It is definitely the leanest meat around, and the fat it does have are healthy fats such as Omega-3. Replacing beef, poultry or pork with few a few times per week will definitely have an impact on your physical well being in a positive way.
Some might think that you’re just out of luck if you don’t like fish. But a multi-vitamin and a fish oil pill can give the same benefits as eating 2 servings of fish per week, the recommended consumption of fish. I recommend searching around for a fish you like, because they all taste different. The pills work just as well however, and you should take them if you can’t find a fish you like.
Fish can have many benefits, and if you don’t eat a lot of fish right now, you should start adding more to your diet. It can help you lose weight and have other positive impacts on your health. You should include fish in your diet even though it hasn’t been proven that Omega-3 has any health benefits. Eat some fish today!
