Cooking with Whey Protein

Whenever you create new cells, whether they be muscle cells or any other type of cell, you use protein to do it. Protein is broken down into something called amino acids. There are 23 amino acids, and there are 3 that are considered essential . They must be consumed in your meals, because they are not produced in the body.
Not consuming enough protein is one of the deadliest mistakes anyone can make. Not enough protein in the diet can cause the body to go catabolic, where the body consumes its own muscles for energy. Make sure your protein consumption is good when you attempt to lose fat or gain muscle; it will make the difference.

Not all types of protein works well in certain products. Cookies aren’t the best to cook with whey protein for example.
Working in protein isolate in place of flour can dramatically improve your diet. When reducing body fat, it can help cut out some or even all the processed carbs from your diet.
